Holy Cow! Sporthorses breeds to the finest of stallions to produce sporthorses that are of good minds and have great talent. They live like horses should for the first three years of their lives. It makes a big difference in their attitudes. We have watched them in a herd situation over the years. An aging Arabian gelding, who never realized he was gelded (at age 15), managed the herd. These horses were his mares and his foals. Yearling geldings were not welcome. We watched and learned, and used what we learned in our own training and horse management. We learned in our backyard what others travel many miles to find. Natural horsemanship is not just a phrase on our farm, it is a way of life!
Usually not started under saddle until they are 4, our guys and gals are eager to learn and quickly pick up whatever we teach them-sometimes way too fast for their own good. Smart, curious, and with a sense of humor our horses shine in a competive world. We may spoil them but they spoil us in return. HOLY COW! LOOK AT THAT HORSE!
